Exceptional Student of the Month
March 2026
DAMA's Exceptional Student of the Month for March was not included the last newsletter because the video had to be taken after Spring Break. We want to congratulate Sam K!
Sam has been taking guitar lessons with Scott Askew for about a year. He was chosen for this award because he has been dedicated to practicing regularly and shows an interest in learning. He is always kind and respectful and Mr. Scott enjoys working with him.
Since Sam was on Spring Break at the end of the month, his mom, Jackie, was kind enough to ask him questions and video his answers. Watch the video to learn more about Sam.
Exceptional Student of the Month
April 2026
DAMA's Exceptional Student of the Month for April is a young man who works with Scott Askew on piano: Lukas N.
He started taking lessons very young and now plays beautifully. He was chosen for this award due to his initiative to keep improving his skills. He practices regularly and chooses songs that will challenge him. He is always respectful and eager to learn. Watch the video to learn more about Lukas and to hear him play the piano.
