Lil' Buds PreSchool
Music Class

3 1/2, 4 and 5 year olds 11:00am -11:45am
Introducing "Lil Buds" our music program for our little budding musicians! This is the perfect class for kids who have outgrown toddler music classes but who are not quite ready for private music lessons yet. Come have fun with us singing, dancing, playing rhythm instruments, ukulele and piano as well as learning how to read music. A new lesson is introduced every week for 6 weeks.
Please note: Students younger than 3 and a half may not be ready for our curriculum. (must be able to read the letters A-G and read the numbers 1-8)
We only accept 8 students in each class in order to give more individual attention.
6 week classes are $65 and will be billed before the first class.
Workshop is based on enrollment. It may be cancelled if not enough participants are enrolled. There are no refunds for missed lessons. If DAMA cancels one of the classes, we will reschedule at the end of the session.
Holiday Bell Choir
November 11 -December 16

8-12 year olds 11:00am -12:30am
We are looking for 4-6 kids ages 8-12 years old to learn Christmas music to perform at our Winter Concert on Dec. 17th.
Kids are not required to be enrolled at Denver Academy of Musical Arts but they must be able to read notes in treble clef.
Kids must commit to be at every rehearsal since practicing at home will not be possible.
Kids must commit to perform on December 17th.
There is no fee for DAMA students.
Non DAMA students fee is $40

Workshop is based on enrollment. It may be cancelled if not enough participants and all pre paid classes will be refunded.
The Unplug Club
AGES 8-14 Tuesdays 3:30 -5:00pm
A social club for kids age 8-14 to play board games and socialize in a supervised setting. There are no electronic devices allowed! Kids will need to bring their own games (subject to parent approval). Open to all kids not just DAMA students. Participants are not required to stay the entire 90 minutes unless they want to. Board gamers must comply with conduct rules. (See Rules/Regulations and Procedures page). Snacks will be provided.
Limit 15 students.
Drop-in rate = $12 per child per session.
PrePaid rate = $60 per child for 6 week package.
Referral credits = DAMA Students who refer 2 new Non-DAMA students per session will be credited 1 free game session.

Perform Like a Star! Teen/Adult

If you feel anxious, maybe downright terrified, to get on stage and perform, you are not alone. Performing is a skill that must be practiced. This workshop is designed to teach you how to combat nerves and use it to your advantage. We use a progressive approach that gives you many opportunities to work on the craft in a safe, supportive environment.
Workshop runs 10 weeks for 90 minutes each week for ages 17 and older. Limit 10 participants
Pro/Advanced Pianists

This group is for pianists who feel they are are too advanced to take private lessons. The purpose is to meet so that individuals can play pieces they are working on in order to get helpful feedback and help with technically difficult passages or theory or to give advice to each other and provide a reason to practice. Also to make friends and talk shop. May also feature guest speakers.
Open to teachers, or non teachers. No audition necessary.
